Wanted to share that I was inducted into the 2015 PR Hall of Fame at the 9th Global Communication Conclave of the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) today at New Delhi. I am humbled by this wonderful honor and to receive it from the Union Minister For Tribal Affairs, Mr. Jual Oram – the chief guest of the event. Also, present at the award ceremony were key leaders of PRCI – M B Jayaram, Chairman Emeritus & Chief Mentor and B N Kumar, Vice President, Mumbai Chapter and member of the National Executive.
The event, held at the India Habitat Centre and over two days (March 13 and 14) includes keynote addresses, presentations by senior PR leaders, awards for achievers and for communication campaigns. This year the theme was ‘Communicate to Connect’ and focused on the ability of communicators to make communication consistent and relevant for audiences in our increasingly digital world.
Every year 10 top ranking professionals are considered for the PR Hall of Fame Award.
About PRCI: Headquartered at Bengaluru, PRCI is in its 10th year of operation and has chapters pan-India. Its members are drawn from across private and public sector companies, PR and advertising agencies and universities and media colleges.
Like every year, PRCI honours achievers in the field of communication with its signature Chanakya Awards and recognizes talent and professional achievement with the Collateral Awards on Day 2 of the Conclave.
Congratulations, Aniisu!
